ABOUT THE COWICHAN VALLEY
The best part about working at the Cowichan District Hospital is interacting with all my outstanding co-workers. In the operating room, we work closely as a team and I always look forward to spending time with our team.
Paisley, RN, CDH
I think there are so many opportunities right now because of the new hospital. I can see us moving and growing with the changes and doors opening up for everyone. The dynamic of creating change...is exhilarating.
Brenda, RN, CDH
I moved to Vancouver Island in the Fall of 2021. I enjoy the local waterfall hikes, beautiful walking paths, and stunning swimming spots in the summer. There are also great mountain biking locations.
Mariah, RN, CDH
The lush, rolling green landscapes and multitude of beaches are great for unwinding, but adventure-seekers will also enjoy world class fly-fishing, kayaking, wildlife viewing, rainforest hiking, golfing, and much more. Four hikeable and bikeable mountains are close by, plus a huge variety of trail systems with spectacular scenery.
